Please Help Out A Confused Woman!
I've been fiddling about with the template of my blog and it seems I've spent half my life trying to brighten it up a bit. Would appreciate any suggestions or tips on how to put in a interesting title. I've noticed many other bloggers have really fab titles with pictures etc. How can i do that to mine. If you let me know I'll be your bestest friend and buy you chocolate!

It's all under your dashboard...I think it's called layout.....that will give you a whole heap of themes etc.
When you type a post, on the little line with the bold and the italic symbol there's a picture of a picture. Click on that and it'll ask you to upload a pic.....this can either be from the internet (and saved to your PC) or one of your own pics....liked you added your Muvver and Son shot.
Hope this is okay and it all works!
Thanks for comment, still working on it and hope eventually I find something I like. Such as a graphic designer who would do it all for me and be paid in chocolate!!

I see you have a lovely image in your banner now, but if you are still struggling to do exactly what you want - email me on dulwichmum@yahoo.co.uk and I will get my super PA Lydia to do it for you. She is an IT genious, but didn't even know how to stop a run in a silk stocking with nail polish before she met me! (that is sooo much more important!)
Yes, the layout in the dashboard is a good place to start. You can design a masthead in photoshop (or however) and in the layout section you have the option of uploading your own masthead. Although, looking at your blog, I think you may have done all this already :)-
